The Big Word

The Big Word provide translation and interpretation services worldwide to an extensive range of clientele. They asked OTB to rebuild their main enquiry site, bringing it up to date and allowing full control of all content on the front end of the site.

My main task was building the CMS to run the front end. The main obstacle of the site was that each page within the CMS needed the ability to be translated from the English version to a language selected by the administrator. This proved a tough task as it had to connect to an API supplied by the client. Administrators could preview the translation and all pages were set to live via the API once approved.

Although it was challenging, it was an enjoyable project and all pages were translated successfully before the live date.
