G3 Remarketing

G3 Remarketing are an online vehicle auction company specialising in ex-contract hire vehicles. As G3 were a start-up company, OTB accepted the task of creating the website and the brand guidelines.

My main role was creating the auction section and the bidding system which was the essential feature of the site. Each vehicle was assigned to an auction start and end time, during which the vehicles receive multiple bids from different users. The vehicle details page had some cool features, such as the image zoom using a variant of Silverlight and an extension of the auction time should a bid be received in the final fifteen minutes.

The site has been live Nearly 2 years and there are still auctions every Thursday.
